RFID4U - CompTIA RFID+ Certification
See Dates and Locations

Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) currently is involved in an RFID Skills Certification Initiative called RFID+ certification. This vendor-neutral professional certification will validate a professional’s knowledge and skills in the areas of installation, maintenance, repair, and upkeep of hardware and software functionality of RFID products.

RFID4U as a Cornerstone Committee member is contributing our expertise to efforts by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) to develop this vendor-neutral RFID certification. By participating in the certification development process, we along-with other cornerstone committee members helps determine the content of the RFID certification: its scope, the target audience and job skills an individual needs to be proficient in RFID system installation, maintenance or management.

Who should take it? If you are an individual that has:

  • Foundational RFID knowledge
  • 6-24 months of experience in the RFID industry
  • Perform installation, configuration and maintenance of RFID hardware and device software, site surveys/site analysis or tag selection, placement and testing
